We believe a meal is more than just food. This is especially true for Chef Kylan, our Chief Culinary Officer. It all started for him in a humble kitchen in Beaumont, Texas. Chef Kylan realized that cooking a delicious meal is more than just nourishment; it also brings people together. His inspiration comes from generations of sharing meals as a family - a tradition he honors when creating meals for your family.

Kylan is the father of Kade - A curious 2-year-old who is determined to help dad create in the kitchen. Kade's favorite foods include grilled chicken, avocado and salmon.

Cooking together is a tradition that has been passed down from Kylan's grandfather. Many family gatherings were celebrated on the gulf coast with hearty pots of gumbo and Southern fish fries.

One of the family's favorite recipes is a Tex-Mex classic salsa roja. This recipe is simple and always pleases a crowd. Grab some crispy tortilla chips and dig in with your whole family!

 

TEX-MEX SALSA ROJA
-28oz can whole peeled tomatoes 
-1 Regular can of Rotel tomatoes 
-1 fresh jalapeño
-1 clove garlic
-1 whole bunch of cilantro (stems removed)
-About a tbsp (more to taste) of kosher salt or sea salt
Blend and enjoy!
